The All Asian Independent Film Festival 2025 (AAIFF Asia), established in 2020, aims to elevate the work of independent filmmakers across Asia by spotlighting their unique stories and encouraging both creators and audiences to strengthen the region’s independent cinema culture.  The 2025 edition of the festival will be held from 12-14 December 2025 at the Legend Cinema, Olympia Mall in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.

AAIFF Asia’s 2025 Official Selection includes 28 films from 16 countries, competing across 8 categories, including dramatic feature, documentary, animated creations, student films, and more. The films are crafted by independent filmmakers from all over the Asian continent who are devoted to showcasing their creativity to global audiences.

The three day festival will end with AAIFF 2025’s Awards Ceremony, where 16 awards will be presented to honor Asia’s best independent filmmaking talents. The filmmakers will be competing for awards including Asia’s Best Independent Film 2025 and Asia’s Best Independent Film director 2025.

As in previous years, AAIFF Asia 2025 will be hosting Professional Workshops as well as Q&A Sessions with the directors in competition during the three day festival, providing the audience with a unique opportunity to engage directly with the filmmakers. As has become tradition, the festival will once again host nightly After-Parties featuring performances by talented local musicians.
