AAIFF Asia celebrates independent filmmaking at the Digital Village in Paris’s 13th arrondissement on October 21, 2025, at 7 p.m.

PARIS, FRANCE (20 March 2025) – AAIFF Asia – The All Asian Independent Film Festival, Asia’s premier event for independent filmmakers and audiences, will celebrate the launch of its second edition with a Launch Party in the heart of Paris on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, at the Digital Village.

The event will kick off AAIFF Asia 2025 with an evening of cocktails and film screenings, including three of last year’s award-winning titles, trailers from this year’s Official Selection, and the rare opportunity to meet filmmakers and industry professionals.

Founded to champion quality, innovation, and independence in Asian cinema, AAIFF Asia highlights the best emerging and established talent from across the continent. This second edition of the festival will feature 28 films from 14 countries, competing across eight categories for 16 awards, including the prestigious title of Asia’s Best Independent Film 2025.

Representing a range of genres — from feature films and shorts to documentaries, animations, experimental works, and student films — the festival continues to serve as a vital platform for promoting independent and creative storytelling across Asia.

During the Launch Party, audiences will get an exclusive first look at trailers for this year’s featured films, including Spirit House and X Kills Me, as well as screenings of some of last year’s winners: C-Fly, Thank You God, and The Locked Door.

The All Asian Independent Film Festival 2025 will take place from December 5-7th, 2025, in Phnom Penh, Cambodia.
