The Hero’s Childhood

Childhood is a place that never quite leaves us. In this documentary, illustrator Arly Jones sets out on a journey back to the moment, at the age of twelve, when the images that still shape his work first began to emerge. Through a creative exercis —designing the poster he might have hung above his bed as a child—the film explores how those early sparks of fascination remain alive in the adult gaze, and how memory can become a tool for understanding who we are.
