PIG HEART

Elli (13 years) has a heart disease. She needs a transplant organ as soon as possible or she will die. There is no hope in finding one, but a heart specialist has a new idea: transplanting the heart of a genetically modified pig. Elli’s mother wants to use this seldom chance, but Elli says no. There is no way another living creature will die for her because she is vegan. After all talks fail her mother decides to send Elli to a children hospice where she must understand that death is coming and there is no way around it, except the pig heart.
