BEYOND THE FRAME

A revelatory and personal film, Beyond the Frame discusses colonial photography and challenges the gaze through which it framed Africa.

A journey that emerges from a family archive discovered by chance,
Beyond the Frame observes, interprets, and reflects upon how the colonial legacy shapes our present.
